Air India has unveiled a new collection of amenity kits and loungewear — "Crafted for the Journey. Inspired by India." — that weaves Indian art, craftsmanship and wellness into the small comforts of a long flight. Here's what's now waiting at your seat, cabin by cabin.
First Class — The Art of Flight
First Class guests receive the Art of Flight Collection: premium leather kits with collectible designs refreshed every six months, and even distinct designs for the outbound and the inbound journey. Inside you'll find Forest Essentials skincare — one of India's loveliest natural beauty houses — alongside the essentials that make the hours pass easily: an eye mask, socks, a dental kit and more.
Business Class — The Navratna Collection
In Business Class, it's the Navratna Collection. The amenity kits take the shape of a jharoka, the carved window of an Indian palace, in soft leather — with distinct colourways for the inbound and outbound flights. You'll find the same Forest Essentials skincare and a curated set of onboard comfort essentials to settle in with.
Premium Economy — a thoughtful upgrade
Premium Economy hasn't been forgotten. Guests receive hand cream and lip balm by The Indian Apothecary, an eye mask, socks and other travel essentials, all in a reusable Air India leather bag that's genuinely nice enough to carry long after the flight.
A first for airline amenity kits
Here's the part that makes this collection special. First and Business Class guests also receive a handcrafted Ayurvedic Marma massager — a first for any airline amenity kit. Carved from 100 per cent natural wood and inspired by traditional Ayurvedic wellness, it's a small, graceful way to ease the stiffness of a long flight and step off feeling a little more yourself.
Loungewear woven from Himachal tradition
There's new loungewear too, for First and Business Class.
